Some people would be angry about its design and looks, stating that it is a copyright infringement. Genre-wise, this guitar is great for jazz, classic rock, metal, country, and about anything else one can think of. The sustain on this Burny is just as good as on a Les Paul. The neck pickup can sing with a beautiful warm bloom, and the bridge pickup has a great bite to it. Unfortunately it is as heavy as a Les Paul as well - in the 9 pound area! But, again, this is a functionally identical guitar, so expect all aspects to be as spot-on as possible. It plays like a Les Paul, smooth and buttery. But really, this guitar is so identical to a good Les Paul Custom, that the only discernible difference is in the brand name on the headstock. Guitar plays beautifully after being set up. Responses to any questiones I had were fast and helpful. Thank you! Большой леспольный тест. The truss-rod cover looks a little goofy. All the plastic has aged or came that way in a most deep and luscious way. The knobs have a magnificent aged amber look. Gibson may be doing it now, I've had no reason to pick one up in years so I don't know. From what I've heard Tokai has always acurately replicated this shape. Removing the cheek materials from the side makes a dramatic difference on how even a very thick neck feels in the hand. I don't know what Gibson's necks are like these days but their Reissue necks used to be slightly too big and the wrong shape for a ' Their spec was. Tokais are also very good, I think Billy Gibbons plays one for time to time.

The first thing that stood out to me was the fact that the binding encased the fret edges, just like a bound-fingerboard Gibson. It was sold as a s model, and so we assume it is.
